About Us
The Queen Bee Linen business was started by Anne Harvey after touring northern Italy where small specialty stores provided good quality and distinctive fabric products generally not available in the larger stores. These smaller stores gave customers every opportunity to experience the quality and craftsmanship in the goods before they made a purchase.
Anne’s first shop was opened in 2004 at Burnside, within the Burnside Shopping Centre. The second Queen Bee Linen shop opened on King William Road in 2009. Both shops continue to be run by Anne and her staff.
The emphasis of the King William Road store is on a range of fabric products for the home from a small list of reliable suppliers, leading to a reputation for quality goods in a range not generally available.
Gift vouchers and lay-by are available and our service includes complimentary gift wrapping in beautiful papers and ribbons.
Orders can be taken for specialty items with stock usually available within 3 weeks of a confirmed order.
